Deutsche Berglaufmeisterschaft 2017

Tolle Leistungen bei der diesjährigen deutschen Berglaufmeisterschaft in Bayerisch Eisenstein!

Am Wochenende fand die Deutsche Berglaufmeisterschaft zum größten Berg des Bayerischen Waldes, den Arber mit 1456 m. Start war der Ortskern von Bayerisch Eisenstein (724m)- Ziel war der Gipfel des Großen Arber (1456 m). Kurz vor dem Start musste die Strecke von 12,5 km/ 887m Höhendifferenz auf über 14 km verlängert werden. 0,7 km Teerstraße, Rest Forststraße, Bergpfade, konstant steigend bis km 9,8; danach Flachstück bis km 11,4. Dann anstieg bis zum Ziel.

Gesamtsieger wurde Maximilian Zeus vom DJK Weiden. Bei den Frauen wurde Sarah Kirstner vom MTV Kronberg.

Mit dabei vom TV Geiselhöring waren Elmar Fries (mit 1:23:47 Std. 7.Platz/Altersklasse M60), „Toni“ Dr. Anton Gorbunov (1:27:44 3.AKM65) und der längere Zeit verletzte Franz Stümpfle. Er wurde Deutscher Vize- Berglaufmeister mit 1:29:10 Std. AKM70 und  war überaus glücklich.

Mit einen Vice- und zwei dritte Plätze war man sehr zufrieden. Denn bei der Mannschaftswertung M60+ wurde man mit Bronze 4:20:41 Stunden belohnt. Man wurde mit nicht mal einer Minute vom „Ewigen Konkurrenten SVG Ruhstorf/Rott geschlagen“. Sieger wurde LT Unterkirnach und mit dem undankbaren 4. Platz musste sich LG Wolfstein begnügen.
