Stadioncross in Dingolfing

Nach dem die letzten beiden Jahre der Stadioncross in Dingolfing abgesagt werden musste, konnte er am Samstag durchgeführt werden. Mit am Start im Isar Wald Stadion, waren drei Läufer des TV Geiselhöring. Auf der Sandbahn, auf der sonst Speedwayfahrer ihre Runden drehen, wollten sich die drei Athleten auch auf die kommende Lauf Saison 2023 vorbereiten.

Bei kühlen Temperaturen starteten Uli Stocker und TV Neuzugang Benedikt Müller über die 3000m. Sie waren in der Alterklasse U18 und U20 gemeldet und konnten sich in einem spannenden Lauf über 3000 m immer in der Spitzengruppe halten.
Im Ziel schaffte es Benedikt Müller mit einer hervorragenden Zeit von 10:06 auf den zweiten Platz in der U18. 21 Sekunden später kam Uli Stocker als erster der U20 an.

Im Mittelstrecken Lauf über 4500 Meter trat, in der stark besetzten Seniorenklasse M50, Hubert Wittmann an. Er wurde hier mit 18:02 Fünfter.
