Geiselhöringer Läufer trotzen sommerlichen Temperaturen

Trotz sommerlicher Temperaturen am Sonntag waren zwei Sportler des TV auf Wettkämpfen unterwegs.

Sascha Daniel startete beim Wings For Life Run in München. Gestartet wurde der Lauf im Münchner Olympiapark um 13 Uhr zeitgleich mit allen anderen Wings For Life Läufen weltweit.  Die Strecke führte, bei über 26 Grad und Westwind, über die Fasanerie, Allach und Eschenried immer weiter nach Westen in das idyllische Münchner Umland. Sascha schaffte 36.35 km / 22.59 Meilen in 2:48 bis er vom Catcher Car überholt wurde. Für ihn der 29 Platz in seiner Alterklasse,  weltweit der 631 Mann, in München 123!

Für Sascha Daniel war der Wings For Life Run ein Vorbereitungslauf für den Riga Marathon in zwei Wochen.

 

Bereits am Sonntag Vormittag ging Hubert Wittmann beim Rogatemarktlauf in Ergoldsbach auf die 10000 Meter Strecke. Auch er hatte unter den für die Jahreszeit zu warmen Temperaturen zu leiden. In einer Zeit von 42:06 wurde er gesamt 6. und in seiner Alterklasse M45  Zweiter.
